Leonardo Kendall completed Ballotpedia's Candidate Connection survey in 2019. The survey questions appear in bold and are followed by Kendall's responses.
What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
Affordability of PCC education. Expansion of policies allowing LGBTQ and female students to have an affordable and safe education in PCC. Increased scholarship opportunities to less-wealthy students and minority students.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am largely interested in affordability of education, especially in community colleges like PCC. A college education is critical in American society and it is unfair that getting one puts students in debt for life. I believe that institutions such as PCC have an essential role in offering college education to students without creating an overburdening debt.
