Linda Fleming was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 11 of the Wyoming State Senate.[1]

Fleming earned a bachelor of science in 1963 from the University of Wyoming. Since 2002, she has attended the University of the South in the Education for Ministry program.[2]

Fleming worked as a teacher for the Carbon County School District from 1965 to 2002.[2]

Fleming is married to John, and has one child named John.[2]

Elections for the Wyoming State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 19, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 30, 2014. Incumbent Larry S. Hicks ran unopposed in the Republican primary.[3] There were no candidates in the Democratic primary, however, Linda Fleming was offered the party's nomination after a successful bid as a write-in candidate.[4] Hicks defeated Fleming in the general election.[1][5]
