I was born and raised in Nebraska and work as a Professional Mechanical Engineer. I have over a decade of Utility Engineering experience, and am passionate about the Energy Industry. I have worked on both the business and technical side of utilities and understand how they work. I have my Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Nebraska and went to Papillion La Vista High School. I am currently on the School Board for Mary our Queen School in Omaha. I want to build things better for the long term and love working with people to solve problems.
  • Encourage joint projects and utility transparency.
  • Modernize the system in order to better provide and connect services with the customer.
  • Plan for the future and not reactionarily maintaining the status quo.
I'm personally passionate about our infrastructure in the United States. Its age and performance are slowly becoming obsolete and needs proper oversight and direction in order to provide reliable services to the public.

I have worked as a Mechanical Engineer for OPPD and at Clearway Energy's Heating and Cooling System in downtown Omaha. I currently work as a Project Engineer at Olsson Engineering. I volunteer where I can and am currently on the School Board for Mary Our Queen School in Omaha. I have hundreds of hours of volunteer experience and was even an Eagle Scout, and went to Papillion La Vista High School. I want to give back to the community with the greatest and best impact possible. I know that I can make a difference and improve by helping with what I know. Nebraska is my home.
Public Utilities are a critical part of the state in providing water and natural gas to homes and businesses throughout the Omaha Metro. The fact that it is a customer owned utility makes it that much more of a responsibility to be correctly maintained with proper oversight from experienced individuals.
I am a problem solver and willing to listen to all sides before making a decision.
Provide proper direction and oversight from the customer owners to the utility in order for the services to maintain their high standards of service.
One of a long lasting quality system that provides needed services to the community.
My very first job was working as a stocker at HyVee on 96th and Giles. I worked primarily in the produce department during high school.
I don't think it is beneficial for oversight of a Utility that the holders of the office have previous experience in Government or Politics. They should have experience in the Energy industry and Utilities.
I believe an analytical and problem solving approach to the office would be most helpful to the holders of the office.
