August 20, 2025: Five states have released K-12 artificial intelligence (AI) guidance this year. These states are Georgia, Maine, Missouri, Nevada, and New Mexico. They join 22 other states that have already passed guidance for AI. These guidelines are not just to prevent cheating, but also to help students and teachers understand how they can utilize the tools AI can provide.
