Dr. Steven Delisle DDS is a dentist-anesthesiologist who has resided in Nevada for 10 years. He specializes in treating special needs patients and children. Additionally, Steven Delisle studied law at Southwestern Law School. He is a business owner with 15 locations and a constitutional conservative.
  • Shield home owners from property tax increases.
  • Protect Private Health Insurance for Nevadans
  • Reform k-12 Education for our children
As a Cancer Survivor I am passionate about protecting and improving private health insurance for Nevadans. I have a unique perspective on how to make private health insurance work better for the subscribers. Additionally, I want to protect and improve state medicaid insurance for the most vulnerable citizens. I have been working with Medicaid for over 10 years and understand the unique challenges that special needs patients face. I also studied law at Southwestern Law school. I am passionate about fundamental rights outlined in the Bill of rights, and also substantive due process rights in the 14th Amendment. I will work to protect the taxpayer and control spending in state government. Finally, I want to reform how we do education. Our children rarely receive the benefits of additional spending on education, due to the bloated administrative state that over sees Clark County school district. Its time to get the resources to the students.
I would like to leave a legacy as a public servant who protected the rights and individual liberties of our citizens, while also finding solutions to improve the quality of life. As Americans and Nevadans, our birth right is freedom, and I want future generations to understand the incredible gift we have been given and the amazing opportunities that exist in Nevada.
I was a paperboy for 3 years starting at age 12.
There are pros and cons to having prior experience in government. Understanding how the administrative and legislative wheels turn can be beneficial. Far too often those in government lose touch with the actual needs and struggles of their constituents. Bringing in fresh perspectives from outside government can help prevent waste and corruption.
Keeping our state's economy on track after the COVID-19 pandemic will be our greatest challenge. Our state is heavily reliant on tourism and the service industry and it will take pro-growth, business-minded legislators to help guide our state through this difficult time. I have been in business for 10 years and have expanded by company state wide.
I would like to bring my knowledge and experience to the healthcare committee. As a dentist-anesthesiologist I have treated thousands of children and special needs patients with complicated medical conditions. Many of these patients rely on state funding and I have navigated the medicaid system for over a decade. Additionally, I am a cancer survivor and have unique insights on how to make private insurance work better for patients.
