Biography
Prokosch was an educator. She obtained her bachelor's degree from SUNY at Oneonta. She went on to earn a master's degree from SUNY at New Paltz.[2]

Four of the nine at-large seats on the Newburgh Enlarged City School District school board were up for general election on May 17, 2016. Incumbents Susan Prokosch and Andrew Johnston, along with newcomer Domenic Tebano, won the three seats with a three-year term. Incumbent Darren Stridiron won the seat with a one-year term. Challengers Anthony Hood, Mark Levinstein, Sylvia Santiago, and Lissandra Deliz were defeated in the race for the four seats up for election.[3]
