Biography
Timothy Hogan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2011 to 2016. He earned a bachelor's degree from Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University in 2006. He earned a graduate degree from Fordham University in 2009 and a second graduate degree from Harvard Kennedy School in 2023. His career experience includes working as a president/CEO, senior investment and portfolio manager, and equity and derivatives trader. Hogan has been affiliated with American Endowment, Magnified Giving, and Honor Flight Tri-State.[1]

|Hogan earned athletic and academic accolades at Fordham University in the Bronx, New York. He started on the football team as a tight end while earning an accelerated master's degree in economics. Hogan finished his career winning the Danowski Award as one of Fordham's finest leaders.
Hogan started his financial career on Wall Street before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served with distinction as a Reconnaissance Platoon Commander and Intelligence Officer.
Hogan returned to Cincinnati after four years of active-duty service and two years abroad. He resumed his financial career at Fort Washington Investment Advisors, managing multi-million-dollar portfolios. He co-founded a multi-million-dollar real estate company that owns and operates multi-family housing, and he joined the board of directors of three non-profits that support various causes.
Hogan resigned as a Senior Investment and Portfolio Manager to pursue a graduate degree at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. After Harvard, he returned to Cincinnati to teach economics at the University of Cincinnati and manage his real estate company, Pendleton Properties.
Hogan lives in Miami Township with his wife, Laura Schiller, son Timothy S. Hogan, and two rescue dogs.- Bringing Opportunities to Ohio — Hogan’s top priority is fighting to grow career opportunities for the people of Ohio’s 8th District. As a business-focused moderate with experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, he brings diverse experience, relationships, and expertise to the office.
- Honesty and Transparency — After the largest corruption scandal in Ohio’s 221-year history (the Ohio nuclear bribery scandal), Hogan believes it is time for the Ohio government to earn back Ohioans' trust. Since uncovering the scandal in 2020, zero laws have been passed to combat the issues that led to the crisis. Hogan is committed to legislation ending dark money donors and anti-corruption reform.
- Unity and Strength — As a centrist refusing to take donations from either political party or special interest groups, Hogan is uniquely positioned to help bring Ohioans together. As a Marine Corps veteran, Hogan plans to leverage the leadership he learned in the military to bring everyone to the table and craft common-sense, bipartisan legislation that makes Ohio competitive again.
