Virginia Senate Bill 889 was introduced and sponsored by State Senator Stephen Martin (R-11). It was signed by Governor Bob McDonnell (R) on March 25, 2011.[1]
Provisions
SB 889 removed the requirement that voters include the last four digits of their social security number when signing a petition.[1]
