W. Edwin Cole, Jr. was a judge on the Orphans Court of Cecil County in Cecil County, Maryland.[1] He was elected to the court on November 2, 2010, and assumed office on December 6, 2010.[2][3] Cole was defeated in his bid for re-election in 2014 and stepped down when his term expired.[4]

Cole ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Cecil County.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 55.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Richard Charles Bartel. Both candidates were unopposed in the primary. 
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 14.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Richard Charles Bartel, Pete Pritchard, Sally Saunders Camp, and incumbent Judge Carolyn Crouch for three open seats. [4][5] 

2010

Cole was elected to the Orphans Court of Cecil County with 18.74 percent of the vote in the general election on November 2, 2010. Carolyn Crouch and Vincent Pantalone were also elected.[3]
