Biography
Dyana Limon-Mercado's professional experience includes working as the executive director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes. She earned an associate degree from Austin Community College in 2003, a bachelor's degree from Texas State University in 2005, and a graduate degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008.[1]

Travis County has been a leader in voter turnout, election integrity and accessibility for decades. Together, we can ensure that the Office of the County Clerk continues to innovate to promote voter participation and best meet the needs of the community, while adapting to legal challenges and leveraging advances in technology. Together we can work to expand voting locations and voting hours, as well as ensure integrity and transparency in the process of tabulating and auditing the vote count.
- EFFICIENT & ACCESSIBLE COURT ADMINISTRATION: It is the County's duty to ensure that all residents have access to the records they need. The Clerk's office must ensure that all parties have speedy access to the materials needed and they are treated in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Together we will implement a court case management system for criminal cases that allows for efficient online access to electronic documents, and enhance integration between county and district courts systems to promote accessibility.
- RELIABLE & ACCURATE COUNTY AND PROPERTY RECORDS: It is the County's duty to ensure that all residents have access to the records they need. The Clerk's office must ensure that all parties have speedy access to the materials needed and they are treated in a professional and respectful manner at all times. As County Clerk, Dyana will continue to provide remote options for conducting business to promote accessibility and public health.
