Kurt Westby is the former commissioner of labor in Connecticut. Westby was appointed to the position by Governor Dan Malloy (D) in June 2018. Gov. Ned Lamont (D) reappointed Westby to the position in January 2019.[1][2] Westby retired in June 2021.[3]

Gov. Dan Malloy appointed Westby as Connecticut commissioner of labor in June 2018. Westby replaced Scott Jackson, who was appointed as the commissioner of the state Department of Revenue Services. Gov. Ned Lamont (D) reappointed Westby as labor commissioner in January 2019.[1][2] Westby retired in June 2021.[3]
