My sister and I grew up in a working class household. My Dad worked and continues to work with developmentally disabled individuals. My Mom was a Social Worker. After graduating High School, I attended the State University of New York at Brockport on an ROTC Scholarship. I received a Bachelor's Degree in History and Commissioned into the Active Duty Army as an Intelligence Officer. I served on Active Duty for four years, leading Soldiers at Ft. Gordon, Georgia as well as overseas. When I transitioned from Active Duty, I joined the Army Reserve Component, and in 2015 acquired a full time job with Alion Science and Technology, a government contracting company, in Rome, New York. I continued my education in 2017 by commuting one weekend a month to the National Intelligence University in Bethesda, MD, earning a Master's of Science Degree in Strategic Intelligence, graduating in 2020. Living in Central New York has significantly enriched my life. I built a career here, made lasting friendships, and care deeply about the area's future and its people. It is the first place that has ever truly felt like home in my adult life. With my most recent position as a Program Manager, and as a Major in the Army Reserve, I will bring service, leadership, and a depth of varied experience to this office. I am committed to making sure everyone in the district has a voice, and I pledge to always be available to hear concerns.
  • Making sure residents feel safe in their communities will be a top priority. I will work closely with our law enforcement to ensure they have the resources they need to reduce the rising tide of crime in our area. I also recognize the importance of accessible and affordable healthcare. I will advocate for policies that enhance healthcare infrastructure, increase mental health services, and address issues related to drugs and addiction. This will ensure that residents can lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
  • I will work tirelessly to attract investments, create job opportunities, and support local businesses as well as the working class in our community. I believe in the potential of Central New York to thrive economically, and I am committed to implementing policies that contribute to sustained growth, as well as address poverty in our region.
  • A strong and educated workforce is essential for the prosperity of our district. I will advocate for increased funding for education, support innovative programs, and collaborate with educational institutions to ensure our students are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.

Colin Powell is one of my heroes, and someone I've always looked up to. He came from a lower-middle class background, made his way to the top of the Military Chain of Command, and also became a well respected statesman. He had superb leadership skills, and was respected by all. I've read all of his books and try to emulate him as best as I can.
That I've left our State, our Country, and our World better than I found it.
I worked in the Deli at a local grocery store. I sliced deli meat and made subs. I worked there throughout most of college, about 3 years.
