Christy Mowrey (Libertarian Party) ran for election to the Texas State Board of Education to represent District 12. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Biography
Christy Peterson was born in San Diego, California. She attended Collin College for undergraduate study. Peterson's career experience includes working as a school director.[1]
