Lesley Maynard was a Democratic candidate in the 2011 special election for District 24 of the Maine House of Representatives. The special election took place on November 8, 2011. Maynard was running to fill the vacancy created when Frederick Wintle (R) resigned his seat after being charged with pulling a loaded gun on a photographer in the parking lot of local doughnut shop.[1]

Maynard was defeated by Raymond Wallace (R) in the November 8, 2011 special election. David Pearson (G) also ran.[2]
