Valerie Florentino Davis is a member of the Fresno Unified Board of Education in California, representing Trustee Area 3. She assumed office in 2006. Her current term ends on December 11, 2026.
Davis ran for re-election to the Fresno Unified Board of Education to represent Trustee Area 3 in California. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Davis is a member of the East Fresno Kiwanis Club and received the Association of Mexican-American Educators Award in 2009. She has participated in the California School Boards Association's masters in governance program. Davis and her husband have three daughters.[1]

2014
Four seats on the Fresno Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. In the Trustee Area 1 race, incumbent Cal Johnson faced three challengers, Debbie J. Darden, Christiansen L. Flemming and Charles Watkins "Muhammad", and won his bid for re-election. Trustee Area 3 incumbent Valerie Florentino Davis ran against one challenger, Esmeralda Diaz. Davis also won her bid for re-election. In Trustee Area 4, incumbent Christopher de la Cerda ran unopposed and won re-election by default. No incumbents filed to run for the Trustee Area 7 seat, leaving the race to candidates Brooke Ashjian and Ruben V. Martinez. Ashjian defeated Martinez to win a seat on the board.
