Sherry Mallory was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 34 of the Georgia State Senate. She ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012.
Biography
Mallory's professional experience includes working as a legislative aide for the Georgia General Assembly, an advisory board member for the Department of Juvenile Justice RYDC-Regional Youth Detention Center, and as a board member of the Design and Media Technology Program at Atlanta Technical College.[1]

Elections for the Georgia State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014, with a runoff election taking place where necessary on July 22, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Valencia Martin Seay defeated Sherry T. Mallory in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4]

Mallory ran in the 2012 election for Georgia State Senate District 34. Incumbent Valencia Seay was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Mallory either withdrew or was removed from the ballot before the general election on November 6, 2012.[5]
