William P. Lynch was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. He served in this position from April 21, 2005, to September 3, 2017.[1][2]

Education

Judge Lynch earned his undergraduate degree from the Northern Illinois University and his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois. He then earned a Master of Judicial Studies degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2001.[1]

Career

Judge Lynch practiced law with the firm Atwood, Malone, Mann & Turner for 16 years. In 1995, he was appointed to the New Mexico Fifth Judicial District Court. He then became a federal magistrate judge in 2005.[1]
