Hill was the Republican District 3 county commissioner in Collin County from 2013 to 2017. He resigned on October 26, 2017, in order to run for county judge.

Biography

Chris Hill lives in McKinney, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M University at Commerce, a master's degree in leadership from Columbia Biblical Seminary in 2002, a master's degree in accounting and information management from the University of Texas at Dallas, and an M.B.A. from Webster University. Hill’s career experience includes working as a controller with A3D Technologies and North Texas Public Broadcasting. He volunteered as the Republican precinct chair and as the treasurer for the Collin County Republican Party. Hill was elected to serve as the Collin County commissioner in 2012.
