- I’m running because our democracy is under threat from our current administration in Washington. They are our constitution, undermining national security, and treating our community members inhumanely. Checks and balances are falling apart. I want to be a part of stopping the harm and rescuing democracy.
- I’m running because I want to find common ground. I believe most of us want the same things. We just have different ideas on how to get there. So let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s offer respect and dignity to everyone. And let’s find out what we have in common, as neighbors.
- I’m running for the common good of regular Americans. This means policies that make life affordable for working people, families, elders, children, and the most vulnerable in our communities. This means making large corporations and billionaires pay their fair share so small businesses and family farms can thrive. The staggering wealth inequality in our country is a choice. I want to make better choices.
