Ballotpedia survey responses

LaFata stated the following about his political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia:[1]

Nevada needs a Lieutenant Governor with Scott’s leadership background and business experience to be a strong advocate for Nevada tourism and commerce. With his many years of work in consulting, marketing, and leadership positions with major American companies, Scott has the knowledge and experience necessary to identify what can make Nevada continue its reputation as a place to do business. He has managed project teams and worked with key high level executives and knows what their needs and goals are. He will work tirelessly for Nevada to diversify and bolster our economy with new and innovative companies.

As an experienced businessman and entrepreneur, Scott knows that a diverse economy makes for a strong economy that can weather the fluctuations of the market. As Lieutenant Governor, Scott will focus on attracting new kinds of businesses to base their facilities and operations here in Nevada. Under Scott’s experienced leadership we will present a high value proposition to major industries to move to Nevada. His global business experience is needed to effectively negotiate with global organizations and bring them to Nevada.[3]
