James Mills (Georgia)
James Mills is a former Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 25 from 1993 to 2011. In 2011, he resigned to accept an appointment to the state Pardons and Paroles Board.[1]
Biography
Mills' professional experience includes owning a mini-storage warehouse and working as a minister at Blackshear Place Baptist Church where he is a member of church administrations, community youth activities, and foreign missions, and serves as a minister for youth, singles, and senior citizens.[2]

Mills ran for re-election to the 25th District seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the July 20 primary. Mills defeated Mike Parker (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]

2008
In 2008, Mills was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 25. Mills (R) finished with 19,204 votes while his opponent Christopher Strickland (D) finished with 5,861 votes.[4] Mills raised $142,631 for his campaign fund.[5]
