Only two contested races in North Dakota's judicial elections

North Dakota: Voters in North Dakota will only determine the outcome in two judicial races this November. In the Southeast Judicial District, incumbent Judge Richard W. Grosz and Brad Cruff will compete against after facing off in the primary election. In June, Cruff won the majority of votes, bringing in 60.72%.[1] In North Dakota's nonpartisan judicial elections, the two candidates who receive the most votes advance to the general election.[2]

The other judicial race this fall will occur in the Southwest Judicial District, between Tom M. Henning and Dann Greenwood. Candidates for this race were narrowed to two in the June primary, when Kevin McCabe won only 20.55% of the vote.[1]

In addition to the two contested races, fourteen judges will run unopposed for re-election. Those judges are:
