Micah Kellner
Micah Kellner is a former Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 76 from a special election in June 2007 to January 1, 2015.
He previously represented District 65 in the New York State Assembly from June 2007 to 2013.
Kellner did not run for re-election in 2014.[1] Rebecca Seawright (D) won his seat in the November 4, 2014, general election.
Biography
Kellner earned his B.A. from New York University.[2] His professional experience includes working as an aide to New York City Comptroller William Thompson, as an aide to United States Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney and as an aide to United States Senator Chuck Schumer.

Kellner ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 76. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. He defeated Mike Zumbluskas (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]

Kellner ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. He was unopposed in the general election on November 2.[6][7] In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, he ran on the Working Families ticket.

On November 4, 2008, Kellner won re-election to the New York State Assembly, District 65, defeating opponent Georgiana Viest (R).[8][9]
