My name is Christine Alexandria Olivo. I am a mother, I am a Christian and I am a progressive! I am running to be the next representative of Florida's 24th District because our residents need genuine change not just rhetoric. I serve the community every week weather its doing community service work at True Gospel Christian Center or going to protests to advocate for the change we desperately need.
  • I was born in this district I was raised in El Portal this district made me who I am today! I am District 24.
  • I will not only vote for the change we need in congress but I will advocate for it! Weather it's Medicare For All or the Green New Deal, I will fight for the change we need!
  • I have the districts needs in my heart. Growing up here I understand the issues my community faces such as gun violence and being payed starvation wages.
I am very passionate about many areas such as ending gun violence, implementing a $15 minimum wage, establishing an easier path to citizenship, Medicare For All, the Green New Deal, tuition free public college, relieving all student debt and abolishing ICE
I look up to Daisy Black because she was a long time mayor of El Portal, she showed me that someone who resembles my features can grow up to be whatever I wanted to be.
I work well with others, I am a strong leader and a fighter.
Serving the residents of my community and not only vote but advocate for the change FL-24 needs.
I would like to put an end to gun violence and racism.
The first historical event that happened in my life time was Anita Hill accusing Clarence Thomas of rape, I was 8 years old at the time.
My first Job was being a hostess at Cheesecake Factory for 9 years.
The Four Agreement by Don Miguel Ruiz
Having opportunities to open my businesses
Redistricting needs to be a non partisan process with a radius restriction.
The house of representatives has a great amount of diversity especially on the Democratic wing.
No I don't believe that previous experience in government or politics is beneficial because working class candidates have a more beneficial relationship with the citizens in their district.
The United State's greatest challenge over the next decade is the climate crisis
Yes I do, I believe if my community is satisfied with my work they will give me a 2 year extension at the polls.
I believe every position should have a a term limit of 3 cycles including the Supreme Court
