Ned Gaines is the Nevada Commissioner of Insurance. Gaines assumed office on October 9, 2025.
On July 2, 2025, the Nevada Department of Business and Industry appointed Gaines as acting Nevada Commissioner of Insurance to replace Scott Kipper (nonpartisan).[1] Gaines was confirmed as the official officeholder on October 9, 2025.[2]
Biography
Ned Gaines earned a bachelor's degree from the Excelsior College and a graduate degree from Liberty University. Gaines' career experience includes working in the insurance industry.[3]
