Biography
Jane Williams earned a high school diploma from Loganville High School. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Clayton State University in 2003 and a graduate degree from North Carolina Central University in 2013. Her career experience includes working as an administrative assistant and a paralegal.[1][2]

These “I Ams” illustrate my life-long commitment to serving my community in a variety of ways. This includes organizing voter registration drives; assisting ex-felons in reclaiming their right to vote by terminating long probation sentences early with Georgia SB 105. When it comes to human services, I assist seniors with absentee applications; take them to their doctor appointments; and help them pick up their prescriptions and other essential errands. On a personal level, I have been the primary caregiver for my disabled sister for nearly 20 years. So, service is not just something I do. It’s who I am!
My leadership style is being an outspoken advocate who consistently shows up in spaces when and where many residents are unable to because of their unique life circumstances. But, I’m also a leader who understands the importance of rolling up your sleeves to “work with the people” to address the issues that matter most to them – from housing, healthcare, education, environment and more!- I am running to expand opportunities and protections for Georgia’s working families. I’ll continue to fight for stronger public schools, environmental justice, voting rights as well as housing and healthcare affordability.
- I’m running to make sure that everyone has a seat at the table and that government works for everyday people not just the powerful and the wealthy.
- My lived experiences reflect the community I serve – from youth to the elderly – I will deliver real results that uplift District 68 and our state of Georgia.

- I believe that everyone should have a right to vote and that voting should be made easier and not harder in the 21st century. I believe in Statewide Medicaid Expansion. And I believe Mental Health is real and more legislation is needed.
- Even though women reached a historic record after the 2020 election making up 32.5% in representation, women are still underrepresented in State Legislature and all forms of government. Therefore, 32.5% is Not Enough. Why can't we have 51%. I believe if more women had a seat at the table more would get done.
- I’m asking voters to send a woman back to finish the job that Rep. Tish Naghise started. To send a message that this seat is not a seat of convenience, but a seat that requires work, commitment, consistency, A Leader. Because visibility matters, accessibility matters, You matter.
Healthcare access for all Georgians.
Mental Health.
Education.
Environment.
