An effort to recall township clerk Lisa White in Clay Township, Michigan from her position was launched in July 2014.[1] As of December 2015, this recall effort appeared to be abandoned and Ballotpedia discontinued active coverage. Supporting arguments
White is targeted for recall by supervisor Artie Bryson over a $200,000 IRS lien placed against on township property and being absent since the November 4 election while still collecting full pay.[1]

Petitioners needed to collect 914 signatures during a 180-day period. Signatures were only valid for 60 days.[1] Supporters submitted signatures in January 2015.[2]
