Butch Kahawai

Biography
Kahawai's professional experience includes serving as an ordained pastor and as the resident manager of Steadfast Housing Development Corporation.[1]

Elections for the Hawaii House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Daynette "Dee" Morikawa defeated Butch Kahawai in the Democratic primary, while Victoria "Vickie" Franks defeated Vince Flores in the Republican primary. Morikawa defeated Franks in the general election.[2][3][4]
