David Tollett
David Tollett (Republican Party) was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 12. He assumed office on January 11, 2021. He left office on January 9, 2023.
Tollett (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Arkansas House of Representatives to represent District 62. He lost in the Republican primary on May 24, 2022.
Biography
David Tollett was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. Tollett earned a bachelor's degree from Henderson State University in 2001. His career experience includes working as the superintendent of the Barton-Lexa School District in Phillips County, Arkansas.[1]

The Republican primary election was canceled. David Tollett advanced from the Republican primary for Arkansas House of Representatives District 12.
Note: Jimmie Wilson (D) was nominated on July 13, 2020, to fill a candidate vacancy left by former Rep. Chris Richey (D) who stepped down on June 30 of the same year.[2] On November 24, 2020, the Arkansas Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling that a presidential pardon on misdemeanor charges didn't restore Wilson's right to serve in the state legislature. Since Wilson was found to be ineligible to hold public office, he was removed from the November 3, 2020, general election ballot.[3]
