A retired oil field worker, looking to be the voice of District 38, providing a conduit for the people of this district to get their voice heard and issues addressed, bringing back that old fashioned Philosophy, “ work for the people, they don’t need to be told.” My job will be to listen and help find ways to get things done.
  • Access to better rural Health Care Services
  • Improving the quality of our vocational system.
  • Water security and management
Providing resources to rural road and bridges. My Doctor leads a group trying to ensure that we address the lack of access to emergency services in rural communities, leading to loss of life. This must be a priority going forward.
My Mother, while my mother never completed high school, I often tell people that know me, she was the smartest person I’ve ever known, she was able to raise 8 kids by herself, she refused to be on welfare, my father died in a car accident when I was 4 years old and my mother was pregnant with my baby brother.

This young lady could do more with a nickel than most people could do with a hundred.

That’s what I come from and that had been my hero all my life.
Character, what you do when no one’s around and only you know is the thing that stands out to me.
When I look at a elected representative, I want to know that what they say they will do they will stand by their word.
I’m aware of who I am and that’s what makes me the type of person that will listen and look for opportunities to come together, I didn’t just start being a servant it’s what I am.
To listen, be active in the district and make no promises they can’t keep.
That I give more than I took.
The event that I can remember happening was the assassination of President John F Kennedy.
I was 7 or 8 years old, My Mother was crying like we lost a family member.
Funny! I started out picking cotton in the booth hill of Missouri, did that from the age of 7 until 12.
Had not thought about that in some time.
I’ve always had a struggle with dealing with close minded individuals.
But I know it takes all sorts to make this world work.
Finding additional resources to bring revenue into the state.

Ensuring educational opportunities for both K-12 and Higher Education with an emphasis on cost.

Having safe guards in place to protect our water supplies and utilization.
I sometimes think it’s a detriment, it’s my opinion that getting people that listen and follow up on issues is more important than previous experience.
Building consensus is the key to getting the job done.
Yes, it is so important to be able to have conversations with people that have a different perspective the exchange of ideas help to develop a blended understanding between people.
The one person I know most and was always impressed with his way of getting things done: James S. Bryant.
The one constant thing I hear from people here in District 38, they want someone that listens to them and is part of their community.
Because District 38 is a large area, covering 5 counties and 3031 miles worth of Territory, I know it will not be a walk in the park, I believe everyone has the right to see and visit with their representative. I’m retired with no kids at home, I can be present!
Never really been a joke man, people that know me know that I’ll listen to them, but don’t have any to add.
Will be the first to say something, at a distasteful remark.
The legislature should always oversee the will of the people.
Because I represent a large District, what ever I introduce will be a direct reflection of the people.
As of this moment, my entire campaign is me.
Health and Human Services, budget, rules, and Labor.
Don’t spend more than you make, always have a little set back for the unexpected.
