- My first key message I want the voters to remember about me is my integrity. I want to bring back the integrity of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and I will start with not loosely and wastefully spending the tax dollars. I will not adopt the mindset, because I am Sheriff, I can spend funds however I want. I will follow policies that are in place and establish a check and balance system for all divisions within the Sheriff's Office to ensure funds are being spent properly for what is needed for the Office and the detainees. I will be accountable and accept all responsibilities for how the tax dollars are spent.
- My second key message I want the voters to remember about me is my compassion. I care about all people within Fulton County, to include the staff serving our county and the people being housed at the Fulton County Jail. I am very concerned about the the severe understaffing of the jail that has resulted in numerous vicious attacks on staff and detainees, as well as, deaths of detainees. I will make a command decision to cease all non-essential services and redeploy those staff members to the jail where there is currently a crisis.
- My third key message I want the voters to remember about me is I am a team player. I want to collaborate with churches, communities, businesses, schools, law enforcement agencies and non-profit organizations to develop plans for our young adults to give other options that will divert them from becoming involved in the justice system. For the ones that are incarcerated at the Fulton County Jail, we will encourage participation in the different programs being offered such as Life Skills, Literacy, GED, Canine, Substance Abuse and other programs we will develop when I become Sheriff.
