Biography
Margaret Plattner was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She obtained a B.A. from Denison University, an M.A. from the Catholic University of America, and a J.D. from the Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. Plattner joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2020. She is involved with New Roots, a non-profit in Louisville that describes itself as "founded on the belief that fresh food is a basic human right. 4. Reform criminal justice system to include decriminalization of 1-3 ounces of marijuana possession (civil fine only; no jail time). Expunge non-violent felony records once the sentence is completed. Cash bail reform.
