Michael Montesano
Michael Montesano (Republican Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 15. He assumed office in 2010. He left office on July 17, 2022.
Montesano (Republican Party, Conservative Party, Libertarian Party, Independence Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 15. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Montesano resigned from the state House on July 17, 2022, to become a district court judge with the New York State Unified Courts.[1]
Biography
Montesano earned his A.A. from Nassau County Community College, his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Saint John's University, and his J.D. from City University of New York Law School at Queens College.[2]
Montesano was a police officer and detective for New York Police Department. His other professional experience includes practicing law, working as a emergency medical technician supervisor and investigator for New York City Emergency Medical Service, an adjunct professor for New York Institute of Technology, and acting village justice for Village Prosecutor Roslyn Harbor. Montesano's other political experience includes serving as president, vice-president, and trustee of North Shore School District Board of Education.
