Nick Russo
Nick Russo was a 2013 Democratic candidate for District 2 of the New Jersey General Assembly.[1]
Biography
Russo earned his B.A. from John Caroll University, his master's in education from Seton Hall University, and his Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 1997. His professional experience includes working as a professor at the University of Phoenix teaching criminal justice and as an educator for Atlantic Cape Community College. He serves as mayor of the city of Longport.[2]

2013
Russo ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 2. Russo was bracketed with Vincent Mazzeo. He was unopposed in the June 4 Democratic primary. He was defeated by Vincent Mazzeo (D) and incumbent Chris Brown (R) in the general election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[4][5][6][7]
