Vescovo's Facebook page highlighted the following campaign themes:
“ | There are rights retained by the people. Let’s work toward ideals of smaller government, less regulations, less taxes, less intrusions and more self-reliance.
Let's talk about JOBS and how we can attract them to this district. We need someone to hear the needs of the Middle Class. Why not start with me as I am part of the Middle Class. I am a pro-small business, hard working entrepreneur that understands nothing is free. I have had great successes that have also come with failure. Social Issues? I have some.... I am a man of integrity regardless of its popularity. I am in love with my Wife and 4 Children. I am Pro-Life and I was ADOPTED. I am a Constitutional Conservative I am Pro-Second Amendment. I am a Turkey Hunting Sportsman[11][12] |

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
