Additional themes

Jungreis' 2016 campaign website listed the following principles and priorities:

I believe every person – and certainly every political candidate – should have a plain set of guiding principles, upon which political priorities and positions are measured.

My principles:

  1. Community sustainability: conserving financial assets and planning for sound economic development.
  2. Safety: ensuring all reasonable measures to prevent personal and property crime.
  3. Environmental/resource sustainability: conserving natural resources for future generations.
  4. Well-being (health and education): ensuring all reasonable steps for healthcare and schools.
  5. Leveling the playing field: ensuring everyone full and equal opportunity for employment and self-improvement.

Principles should produce a clear set of political priorities, and here are mine:

  1. Fiscal responsibility.
  2. Security.
  3. Resource management.
  4. Health and Education.
  5. Equal rights and free enterprise.

CAMPAIGNING I do not intend to wage a funded campaign and I am not soliciting any campaign funds. This direct type of "campaign reform" allows me to make the best judgments for our district without owing any favors to special interests. (I believe it is essentially impossible not to be beholden to a person or entity who gives you money.)

SPECIFIC ACTS AND POSITIONS I have developed lists of specific enactments and positions that demonstrate the intent and quality of my candidacy. I have sought to present my proposals and positions under appropriate headings. Because I only want to list each once, and because they may not fall exactly under a particular heading, please review all of the listed items (which of course you ought to do anyway).

I think my agenda can best be summed up as "lean, clean, and green"[5][4]
