I’m a pragmatic, conservative who has served in voluntary roles to help get great candidates elected, craft policy and grow the youth of the Republican Party. My dedication to service, work ethic and integrity created an organic movement within the district, pushing for my candidacy. With my small business ownership experience, patient advocacy and commitment to create viable, affordable long-term treatment options for those battling addiction and mental illness; I am touching the essence of what impacts the people of my district and Oklahoma. Innovation, out-of-the-box thinking in solving problems, working with stakeholders to create opportunities for public schools to help each more students, get them excited about learning and graduate workforce ready, independent young adults is vital for the success of future generations and Oklahoma. It’s time we get back to the basics of good governance. Stop the grandstanding, focus on policy that limits government in our lives and work to ensure we’re making positive impact vs. restrictive and costly.
- The most important role of your Representative is the act of listening, without it, you cannot effectively “represent” the needs and issue’s impacting the People. The People’s voice has been marginalized, stifled and in many cases silenced by our current Representative. I will restore representation for the People of HD79 and ensure their voice is echoed throughout their house.
- Protecting your personal right’s, civil liberties and freedoms from governmental, municipalities and private enterprise that seek to mandate, enforce or deny employment based on unverifiable and unreasonable claims have caused irreparable damage to local hospital systems and imposed unnecessary staff shortages. With burnout being a major contributor for Physician and Nursing shortages, Oklahoma can least afford to lose any more vital professionals.
- Crime has dramatically risen and is a result of several factors. Lack of education that creates opportunities for success, role models and mentors, familial addiction and mental illness and broken family structure are a few examples. In 2022 Oklahoma reported losses of nearly $900 million due to shrink, resulting in $38.1 million in sales tax revenue lost from criminal activities. Small business can least afford to foot the bill for the rampant crime. Increase in cost of goods, loss of revenue and lack of prosecutorial consequences have created an organized crime. The result is the shuttering of retail establishments and loss of jobs. Repeat offenders must face consequences for their bad behavior. Punish the crime, protect the victim.
Small business success and longevity. Most small businesses fail within the first 5 years. Lack of resources, support, educational opportunities, and access to critical capital are all keys for success. With 60% of our labor force employed by small business, we should prioritize and incentivize those Oklahomans who have the desire and drive to invest in themselves and in our amazing Oklahoma communities.
My grandparents, for the amazing legacy they have built, the number of people they helped who never knew who was watching over them and the incredible work ethic they instilled in us. My husband. There was a time, before I ever knew him that he battled addiction. It was very public, he lost relationships and caused emotional distress to his family. He spent several month’s in rehab, for which he will tell you he believed saved his life. A year after he left treatment, his wife was killed. If you understand addiction, for most this would be the catalyst that ends your sobriety-it was not. He stood firm, taking care of his children and pressing forward in rebuilding his life. I’ve witnessed a transformation in him that only happened because he was able to receive a second chance from someone who truly understands that a person isn’t the sum of the failures of their past but the dedication to change their future. What he did was create a life, even better and more successful than the one he had before his fall. His testimony, like so many, are important for those who are currently struggling. There is hope, we can offer it or extinguish it.
No. My political philosophy has been crafted and molded based on lived experiences and the incredible family in which I was born into. With a Grandad who was a highly revered independent oil producer in Oklahoma, employing and mentoring those who had zero experience in the oil field but desired a good career that could provide for their families; the respect and loyalty that he earned was always evident. I knew from a very young age, limited government, small government and regulations that created a net positive effect for private enterprise were critical in the success of our economy and personal finances.
Integrity, honesty, pragmatism and proven commitment to serve others are some of the key principles that are important. We all have a set of values, beliefs and principles that guide us, however, it is important that we understand our job is not to enforce those upon the people, but use them as a framework in which we serve and honor them. Integrity is most often defined by the actions other’s take. Those of good moral character, integrity and honesty will not seek to justify their existence by destroying others in the process for personal elevation.
Empathy, ability to assess information and be an effective advocate, willingness to listen before speaking and never pre-judging others or any given situation without first gathering my own independent information. My lived experiences aide in having great relational awareness, I’ve had little and had much. In addition to the incredible experiences and opportunities that owning a small business at only 20yrs old created, the journey and experience that being a Mom of 5 and Nana to 10 has taught me is truly invaluable.
Your Representative must be accessible and willing to listen. Much of your representatives job is that of a problem solver. Refusing engagement with your constituents, results in self-service vs. public service. We need to elect those who truly have a servant heart, willingness and commitment to work within the community to ensure they are being served and have open lines of communication at all times. Having constituents who are interested in working along side you, as a resource and support mechanism, helping craft policy and solutions that will bring positive outcomes for the people of the district is something I’m highly interested in establishing. Everything you do impacts the people you serve in some capacity, having a reciprocal relationship with input and support from the people in your district ensures their best interests are always at the forefront.
Being a mom to 5, nana to 10 grandkids; what we do to ensure a bright, prosperous future in Oklahoma is what is most important; for my family and yours.
Oklahoma HB1017 was the education legislation that log jammed the Oklahoma legislature, prompting Teacher/Student/Staff all-school walk outs (all peaceful) and required bi-partisan cooperation. I was 13, it was a great opportunity, regardless of where you stood on the issue, for youth to have insight into the political process.
I was 16, my first job was waiting tables at a restaurant called Po Folks.
Same kind of different as me. It’s a true story of a wealthy businessman and his wife from Ft. Worth, becoming friends and taking in an homeless man. I don’t want to spoil it but the book is worth the read; steer clear of the movie though.

My first husband, my best friend since I was 12 became addicted to opiates beginning in 2008. It cost us literally everything, our home and our marriage. In June of 2021, it cost him his life. I believed our relationship, friendship and marriage was strong enough to save him, only he never tried saving himself. I realize now, what I believed was me fighting for him and his sobriety only further enabled him; it’s a very painful lesson to live with. I hope, when I can share my full story, it’s one that will help others. You are not alone. Loving and losing someone in this situation is devastating.
We have seen the results of our Senate and Governor being at odds on many issues, resulting in multiple special sessions, getting zero work accomplished. Personalities and ego are often the culprit of such strife but it’s the public that pays for the discontent. I believe we accomplish more for the people when we’re working together.
Workforce ready young adults that can meet the needs of industry and enterprise. That starts with our education and the opportunities that we provide for our students.
No. I believe personal and professional experiences help provide insight and guidance for the individual. I have great relationships with many legislators who were elected because of their expertise and experience. They have become some of our most respected and trusted legislators, truly working on behalf of the people.
Absolutely! Relationships garner reciprocity and respect, allowing more opportunities for real, beneficial work to be achieved. I am honored to already have many valued relationships within our state legislature. I serve as a policy advisor for one of our Senator’s, and know how important a role relationships play in ensuring you can impact positive change for your district.
I have enormous respect for Governor Henry Bellmon. His story and how he served in a state in which he was elected the first Republican governor in an overwhelmingly Democratic state is remarkable. The trajectory in which his life of public service began and the journey it took is something I believe made him a great statesman.
Not on my radar. The people have asked me to step up and serve them on their House, that’s exactly what I intend to do.
I met the son of a gentleman who already had my opponents signs in his yard, the day I knocked his door you could see he was distraught. Our conversation went on for the part of an hour, we cried and hugged; he was seriously concerned about his Father’s health. He had just endured 2 brain surgeries, was having a difficult time and it was weighing deeply on his son. The following week I had an event, the gentleman and his son were there. We spent the evening discussing a wide variety of topics, including addiction and how it has impacted their lives, as well as the importance of having a great medical advocate,
Embezzlement, mismanagement of tax-payer funds, adults praying on minor children and abusing their roles of trust and authority have all been shielded and protected from the public eye. Removing the authority and ability for public schools to self-police, self-investigate and subsequently file internal reports on criminal behavior have resulted in predators staying in our school’s and fiscal transparency being compromised. Ensuring all activities that would warrant a criminal investigation, reports and possible prosecution should be conducted by local law enforcement with the aide of school officials. Currently, districts have broad discretion and authority in which they can act-we’ve seen adult predators who have numerous accusations of sexual misconduct Br allowed to continue their disgusting behaviors because they were protected from local authorities and the public per view.

It’s very simple; the monies utilized by our government does not belong to them but rather to us, our hard-earned tax dollars. True transparency will always provide accountability. We are owed transparency in how our money is spent, ensuring the highest fiduciary duties are met and proper internal oversight and controls are maintained in order to prevent mismanagement of our money.
