Elections for the office of Michigan House of Representatives will take place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Bonnie Johnson defeated Ed Peterson in the Democratic primary. Six challengers ran in the Republican primary; Brett Roberts came in first with John Calhoun following. Ronald Muszynski is running as a Libertarian candidate.[2][1]

Muszynski was a Libertarian candidate for District 17 District of the Michigan State Senate. The primary election was on August 3, 2010 and the general election was on November 2. Muszynski was defeated in the November 2, 2010 general election by incumbent Randy Richardville (R).[3]
