Chris Logan ran for election to the Lexington City Council to represent District 7 in Kentucky. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Logan was a 2014 at-large candidate of the Lexington, Kentucky City Council.[1] He was also a 2012 Republican candidate for District 79 of the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Biography

Chris Logan was born and lives in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from Bryan Station High School in 1985. Logan earned a degree in pastoral leadership from Southeastern University and a degree in business management from the University of Kentucky in 1990. Logan’s career experience includes working as a partner at Central Kentucky Solution, LLC and as the lead pastor at Thrive Church in Lexington, Kentucky.[2][3]

The city of Lexington, Kentucky held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. Two at-large seats were up for election. In the primary election, Steve Kay, Richard Moloney, Bill Cegelka and Kevin O. Stinnett advanced past Jerry C. Moody, Shannon Buzard, Jon Larson, Kenner "Pete" Dyer, Chris Logan, Don B. Pratt, Ray DeBolt, Jacob D. Slaughter and Connie Kell. The winners of the general election were Kay, Moloney and Stinnet.[4][5][6]

Logan ran in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 79. He defeated Kenneth L. Kearns II in the Republican primary on May 22, 2012, and was defeated by incumbent Susan Westrom (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[7][8]
