Colonel Gene Billingsley was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 93 of the Tennessee House of Representatives.[1]
Billingsley was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 30 of the Tennessee State Senate.

Elections for 99 seats in the Tennessee House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 7, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Incumbent G.A. Hardaway was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Colonel Gene Billingsley was unopposed in the Republican primary. Hardaway defeated Billingsley in the general election.[2][1]

Billingsley ran in the 2012 election for Tennessee State Senate District 30. Billingsley ran unopposed in the August 2, 2012, Republican primary. Incumbent Beverly Marrero (D) and District 28 incumbent Beverly Marrero (D) ran in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012. Billingsley's name did not appear on the official list of candidates.[3][4]
