Donna Martinez
Donna F. Martinez is a former federal magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. She was first appointed to this position in 1994. She was re-appointed in 2002 and 2010.[1] She retired in October 2019.[2]
Education
Judge Martinez received her bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 1973, her master's degree from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in 1975, and her J.D. from the U.Conn. School of Law in 1978.[1]
Professional career
Judge Martinez began her career as an assistant corporation counsel at the Hartford City Hall. She then worked as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut from 1980 until she became a magistrate judge in 1994.[1]
