There were 38 measures on the ballots for this election.

• 10 measures increasing property taxes; 5 of them for school districts
• 14 measures renewing property taxes; 11 of them for school districts
• 13 school bond measures
• All the bond measures together request a total of $83,795,000 in bond money
• The remaining measures concerned zoning amendments, school redistricting and municipal governance

Notable measures:

• The Lakeview Community School District bond proposal in Montcalm, Mecosta and Kent Counties requested the most bond money at $12.25 million.
• A proposal in Manistee and Mason Counties sought to make the Free Soil Community School District to be a part of Mason County Eastern School District.
