Biography

Hank Szramkowski was born in Chicago, Illinois. He has been a railroad conductor and the state chairman for the Converse County Democratic Party.[1]

I came to Wyoming in 1985 working for the Chicago and North Western RR. I was Local Chairman for the United Transportation Union local 257 representing Conductors and Engineers working out of Bill,WY and South Morrill,Nebraska. I am currently the state chairman for the Converse County Democratic party and the Democratic Precinct Chairman representing Precinct 2-2 Orin.
I am passionate about all three.

I believe that we need to teach our students in Wyoming schools how to think and not what to think. If the state didn't get brought into court over bad policies,they would have more money for the schools 

I believe that a woman should have the freedom to access reproductive healthcare in Wyoming and the country. We should also initiate Medicare for every tax paying citizen in the country. Expanding benefits to include eye care, dental, and hearing.

I am excited about the rare earth elements mines proposed to begin mining in the Laramie and Upton areas. These minerals are used in the production of cell phones, MRI machines, electric vehicles, lasers and other electronics.
Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. These two members of Congress are always thinking about the constituency they serve. The legislation they propose is generally to protect consumers or to make the lives of people better.

Yes. Not only beneficial, but necessary. As legislators we must be able to work together to achieve our intended goals. We must also not be discouraged if we don't get everything we propose, understanding that change comes gradually sometimes in increments.
