Function

The 2013 Hawaii Senate rules described the function of this committee as outlined below.

Committee on Health, whose scope shall be those programs relating to general health, maternal and child care, communicable diseases, dental health, medical and hospital services, mental health, mental retardation, hospitals, and community health care facilities.[1][2]
