My name is Herbert Giles. I am the Democratic Candidate for Georgia House of Representatives District 069. I am running to give Georgians in my District a Choice. Typically this District this has been held by the Republican Party yet the voter turn out seems to be very low. I am not sure of any major reason for this. A surge in voter participation from either party could change the predestined outcome of this election. In these uncertain times planning ahead seems the best course of action. If we are to hold an election it seems prudent to make sure we can vote by getting absentee ballots out to every one. The current administrations do not seem to be planning for this so it is up to us, the citizens of every District in Georgia to plan ahead and prepare to vote absentee in these upcoming Primary and General Elections. I have listed a convenient link to do so on my webpage HerbertGiles.com

I forget his name. I paged for him in high school one day. He basically greeted me, introduced me to someone and left to do his business and I was left to just observe or whatever. I might have been put off a little at first. I certainly did not get anything I was expecting from the experience, especially since I had no idea what to expect. I guess I thought I would be passing down important information to other members of the Legislature. He seemed different from other legislators who appeared to be just going from one photo opportunity to the next. He did not photo with me. He just went about his business. In retrospect it would have been a basic first day at the job, and I guess I did not get the job.
