James Beeghly

James Beeghly was a judge on the Iowa Court of Appeals. He was appointed to the bench in 1984 and retired from District 1. Following his retirement, Beeghly served as a senior judge on the court.[1]
Education
Judge Beeghly was born in Conrad, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1967 and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1974. He also served for awhile in the U.S. Navy.[1]
Career
Judge Beeghly ran a general law practice, worked as a Fayette County attorney, and as a juvenile court referee before his appointment to the Court of Appeals.[1]
