Jane Yohalem (Democratic Party) is a judge of the New Mexico Court of Appeals. She assumed office on July 29, 2020. Her current term ends on December 31, 2030.

Yohalem ran for re-election for judge of the New Mexico Court of Appeals. She won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.

Yohalem was appointed to the New Mexico Court of Appeals on June 20, 2020, by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D). She succeeded Judge Linda Vanzi.[1]

Biography

Jane Yohalem obtained a bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Yale University in 1972. She received a J.D., with honors, from Columbia University Law School in 1975 and a master of laws degree (LL.M.) from the Georgetown Law Center in 1976. She previously worked with the Mental Health Law Project in Washington, D.C. Yohalem moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1987, where she began practicing law.[1]
