Karen Wood
Karen Wood ran for election to the Dosher Hospital District in North Carolina. Wood was disqualified from the general election scheduled on November 5, 2019.
Wood was disqualified as, North Carolina General Statute 131-7 states that only one practicing physician can be on the board at a time. The statute had been repealed prior to this but because Dosher had been found under this statute, it still applied.[1]
