Moral Courage
Personal Accountability
1. Understand you work FOR the people.
2. Understand you must be accountable for your voting record.
This book outlines the life of a Special Operations soldier, leader and visionary. The story is intriguing because it speaks to individual acts of heroism, and also speaks to the struggles of very senior military officers as they navigate the political landscapes of the day. Most specifically it speaks to moral courage to tell the truth despite the effect truth might have on your professional career.
He was humble and effective and I seek to follow in his footsteps as a great civic leader.
