Ploski stated the following about her political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia:[1]
“ | We need to focus our attention on the K-14 public education sector to include academic and fiscal integrity, education career and college pipelines, school safety, equity across all outcomes, and faculty, student, school, and community involvement in policy, curriculum, budget development, accountability and transparent decision-making. Public education is our state's greatest asset that needs our attention to bring it to where our students will need it for the future. There is no time to lose! Now is the time for Education for the Future!
Education is a personal journey. I support school choice, local control, high standards, fiscal responsibility, and teacher professional development. Education should take place in a learning environment that encourages discovery, meaning, way finding, and joy. I am the leader our public education system needs to get our state back on track.[2] |
